ONE ROAD
Community-based public art project
Collaboration with clients of the Geriatric Mental Health Program at the Centre for Addiction
and Mental Health
Produced by Arts Etobicoke as part of
the Art on the Move project
Toronto
Nov 2010 - May 2011

In the winter of 2010, I planned and facilitated the production of a large-composite drawing developed through a series of visual art workshops with clients from the Geriatric Mental Health Program at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, one of Canada's most progressive mental health research institutions. I met with a small group of clients in the program for 8 sessions where we created drawings and other forms of two dimesional artwork. I then brought together clients' artworks as well as my portraits of participants  in the form of a digital collage. The final image was printed as a large-scale mural on a bus used for CAMH activities.
